Superhub 3 internal network address

I have currently just had virgin out into my address and to my dismay I have found I can not change my internal ip address for the network in the superhub 3. I have always detested using default setting in any router I have bought or have used. I have my whole network manually set with ip addresses, I don't like using the range 192.168.*.* is there anyway of changing the setting to match all of my already set ip addresses across my network?

You mentioned in your post to convert ip address using HEX converter.... is this the current ip 192.168.0.1 or the ip address i wish to use 192.168.1.1?

Absolutely it should, setting the base IP address is probably the first and most fundamental essential of even the most basic of router settings. However this router is obviously less than basic. 😞

Feel free to contradict this if you want to defend your hardware by saying how this can now be done Virgin

It rebooted 11days ago.
I can still get to gui and everything else is fine. For now..

I can confirm this method still works on SH3 - Software Version: 9.1.116V

abmalhot can you access the the SH3 at 192.168.1.1 (or whatever your new ip address is)? 

I can't and I'm having the same issue as dcel:

Yes, I can access SH3 via its new IP_Address.

Also, the DHCP running on SH3 allocates the IP Addresses correctly from the new private-network range.

I've just tried accessing my SH3 via 192.168.1.1 and it is not displaying the admin page (the IP address just times out). It is also not responding to pings to 192.168.1.1. This was working fine a few months ago, could Virgin have remotely updated the router and broken it?

My local network is still working perfectly on the 192.168.1.x LAN range, and 192.168.1.1 is the default gateway. Also tracert tests list 192.168.1.1 in all external routings, so obviously the router is still functioning correctly on the required address.

I don't use the SH3 for serving DHCP IP addresses by the way, I use my NAS which does a far better job; the SH3 started forgetting reserved IP addresses after I'd entered about 10 of the 40+ on my LAN, not very useful.

If you do a reset they likely have stopped you from changing the IP to that.

I changed the IP address of the SH3 to 192.168.1.1 about a year ago when they first sent it to me. If I had been unable to set its address range at the time then it would have gone straight back to them as it would have been useless with my LAN. It's been working fine on that IP address ever since. It's only today that I found the admin page is not loading, but I can't say when it happened as I don't log in to it very often - I only wanted to log in today out of curiosity to see what the firmware revision was.
