Your upstreams are looking good. What speeds do you get with a wired connection to the hub using speedtest.net?

Hub 5, TP-Link TL-SG108S 8-port gigabit switch, 360
My Broadband Ping - Roger's VM hub 5 broadband connection

353Mbps Download, 36MBps Upload and 9 ping. I have just switched to modem mode and set my own router up. The internet and wifi are working now but my hub 3 light is solid red. Looking on the virgin media site that means its too hot, is that right?

Is it solid red or magenta. For some reason somebody chose some very close colours! If it works its fine.

It's fine, the light is actually magenta which shows that the hub is in modem mode.

I added the 10db attenuator aswell and these are my new downstream and upstream levels.

My Broadband Ping - Roger's VM hub 5 broadband connection

Hi,

I hope you are all well. Sorry to tag on the back of this discussion. Please would you care to comment on my Network stats please? We're getting continual wifi disruption, it freezes. Wired devices are fine, although running Network Diagnostics causes the wired connections to blip, a ping from a wired windows device says General Failure during the blip. Getting 110Mbps download and 10Mbps when it works. When the Nework Diagnostics did work about a week ago it said every device had low/weak signal and to bring it close, despite it being in the same room.

Thank you in advance 🙂

Andy
