SuperHub3 lag spikes

Hi, I'm a VM SH3 user for over a year now and I always had problems with internet speed which is not constant to my package ( 200mb ) all the time going up and down , from 160 to 20 and the process repeating. Recently I have constant lag spikes in every possible game that I play on Xbox ( wired connection ). I read that superhub 2 is a more stabile hub than 3, can I make a downgrade or what I can do to improve my connection, because I'm paying too much for nothing but bad internet. Here is my hub status: Screenshot_20190902-103749.jpg

Re: SuperHub3 lag spikes

You can't get super hub 2 any more its hub 3 or nothing but you can put it in modem mode and connect your own router with 1Gb ports to it.

Re: SuperHub3 lag spikes

Any good router I can buy ? I mean to maintain the speed that I have ? And if I put a router in wouldn't be the same lag spikes if the router is connected through my hub3 ? Wouldn't be the same thing ?

Re: SuperHub3 lag spikes

Ping spikes can happen because of a problem with your line or you have some deivce max out your upload or download you can test this here.
http://www.dslreports.com/speedtest

There are many routers you can go for I like zyxel Security Firewalls but they do home routers like.
Zyxel AC1300
https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01M1BZ7FY/ref=psdc_430579031_t3_B00YG1BHG0
Zyxel Armor Z2 AC2600
https://www.amazon.co.uk/MU-MIMO-Wireless-StreamBoost-Beamforming-Antennas/dp/B01GHAWAFY/ref=sr_1_1?...

but before getting a new router you can put the hub in modem mode and try a wire connection test if ok you can get a new router.
