for some reason our internet is down, I’ve restarted and reset the superhub 3.0 but have green flashing arrows and no connection. In the diagnostics dashboard it says internet : access denied
I have my old superhub 2.0 and I’ve tried plugging that in but still have no internet connection, do I have to call virgin to assign an old device to my account ?
Engineer is coming out Monday but if I can would like some internet access
you are being told by the flashing lights you have an internet problem which does not mean the hub3 is faulty
regardless of where the SH2 came from it will not work by just plugging it in - you can ring and ask them to reactivate it but i doubt that will help
you can check nothing has come loose with the coax connectors - if they are fine then your best option is patience - the fault may sort itself out or the tech will try to sort it on monday

It suddenly started flashing around 9pm last night and hasn’t come back on since then
