Super hub 2 traffic light blinking green - no internet access

Hi

We've been getting intermittent internet dropouts for about the last month or so, and when it does the super hub 2 traffic light is green (everything else is blue). So far resetting the router temporarily solved the problem, but that seems to work less and less, and isn't particularly convenient. Not sure if it's related, but this seems to have started since we've been upgraded to 100mb speed. Please also note that we use the super hub in modem mode.

Thanks in advance for the help.

The issue could be down to your own router can you connect a PC to the modem mode port and test your connection.

Should it be a Docsis issue post your downstream, upstream and logs

Re: Super hub 2 traffic light blinking green - no internet access

Thanks for the reply.

No internet connection plugging a laptop directly into the modem port.

As for logs in unable to upload them directly without the internet, but the network log lists a lot of critical errors with the code 8200200 no ranging response received.

Not sure what to look for elsewhere. Downstream lists 306 pre rs errors and 304 post rs errors if that indicates anything? Happy to give you specific values if you point me in the right direction.

You need to allow a MAC change so turn off your super hub for 2mins then on or copy your router MAC (not super hub) to your laptop NIC.

I'd like all the downstream, upstream and logs

what own router do you have?

Re: Super hub 2 traffic light blinking green - no internet access

You should have created your own thread really, but your downstream is way too high. You need to get an engineer out to adjust those levels. Call up or wait for the forum team (10 - 14 day wait currently).

Re: Super hub 2 traffic light blinking green - no internet access

Hello clowniuk,

Thanks for posting Smiley Happy

Sorry for the connection problems you're experiencing. I've just tested your network and I agree your levels aren't right. I'll drop you a PM (purple envelope, top right) so we can arrange for an engineer to visit.

Speak with you soon,

Take care.

Re: Super hub 2 traffic light blinking green - no internet access

I am not able to reply to you. I have reached a maximum number of messages. This system is so strange.

I can see this when I want to reply:

''You have reached the limit for number of private messages that you can send for now. Please try again later.''
