Siamese Cable

CapricornDog

Hi all

Could anyone please confirm for me whether or not the coax part of the siamese cable from cab to omni box should be shorted between the conducter and sheath.

Im sure it should not but mine is, i get continuity tone if i test with my multi meter.

The cable from the omni box into the house does not have continuity when seperated from the cable joiner in the omni box.

Do you have a problem with your broadband or TV?

Upload seems low sometimes and my TBB Graph seem very messy.

Do some basic checks. Power off the hub, check that all connections between hub and wall socket are tight and power hub back on. If there is still a problem and there is no area fault you need a tech to visit.

You should book a tech regardless of what you think the fault is.
