Re: SUPERHUB 3.0 FIRMWARE UPDATE ( 9.1.116.608 )

That's the current official version which has all the latency problems (the hub 3 has had these problems since launch, so it's nothing new to worry about).

Eventually you will get the firmware update, version 9.1.116.608 (the version number may change before official release).

This thread I thought was about the official release, is it by chance roll out or area by area or high speed users as said above?

Re: SUPERHUB 3.0 FIRMWARE UPDATE ( 9.1.116.608 )

is anyone else skeptical that a firmware patch can fix a chipset issue of having only 1 core?

i hope im proved wrong and VM /Intel wont just mask the problem to make it "look" better.

here is to hope

Re: SUPERHUB 3.0 FIRMWARE UPDATE ( 9.1.116.608 )

Hello , Just hooked up my hub 3 today as i had upgraded to 350mbps. And it shows i have the 9.1.116.603 firmware. I thought the 350mbps lines got the newer firmware ? Seems ok except my wifi . My devices and router which are all in the same places have less speed now than they did with the hub2. My wives laptop had around 80mbps on hub 2  and now barely 30mbps Smiley Sad   As i've said everything is being used from the same places. This isn't starting out to good lol Wired speed to my laptop is good though.Hopefully this updates to the new firmware soon.need speed.PNG

Before the red is hub2 and after is hub 3. Seems good . Calmed down as the new connection settled. Will keep my eye on it over the next few weeks.

603 and 608 are both versions of the new firmware with the latency fix, although no one knows what the difference is as VM don't provide any details.

The Hub 3 (unlike Hub 2) uses the same network name for both WiFi networks which may cause some devices to connect to the slower 2.4Ghz band instead of 5Ghz. In the hub settings you can rename the networks (add -2G and -5G to the names) then connect your laptops etc to the -5G network.

Re: SUPERHUB 3.0 FIRMWARE UPDATE ( 9.1.116.608 )

My belief is that all hub 3.0s will get the firmware update, but there are no official dates for this (as far as I am aware). Just checked, I'm still on 9.1.116V.
