Poor connection speeds, 45 minutes on hold for customer services to try and answer only hoping to sell u something else. Lucky i am in my 14 day cooling off period!! Wait for them to install everything and then cancel the lot!!
That's absolutely correct, unfortunately the maths favours management. Most people will tolerate crap customer service, and the losses are unfortunately insufficient to drive change. I've worked for a couple of very large customer service operations, companies you'll have heard of, may even be customers of, and they work on the same basis. Over recent years there have been a lot of new entrants to the market, and the established players have seen large customer losses, but even so the mindset doesn't change. They'd rather stick with an established formula of making most money from customers who don't switch, and who don't ask for a better deal than change their ways.
