Replacement hub3 disconnecting issue

I received my new hub 3 and after having it activated i am finding that it is trying to update several times a day and each time it does everything goes down,  all lan and wan connected devices. There also seems to be a few errors reported in the cm network log.

it should update when you connect it and no more - why do you think its trying to update more than that - that said it should not be disconnecting

log into hub3 - 192.168.0.1 [or 192.168.100.1 if in modem mode] - DON'T SIGN IN, click - click router status [centre of screen] - and post the downstream and upstream figures - to see those press on the grey buttons/boxes labeled - upstream - downstream

if its an earlier hub button is top right

Your hub is struggling to get a network connection, call VM to report this fault.

An engineer is coming today 4 to 7 pm.

Regarding the other details

I did run checks on all the available parts of the check router etc . And they all had faults showing. There were IPv4 problems, low/high signal noise. My pc's NIC would show that it was fine and even the hub3 would show a stable white light even though there was no access to the outside network.

As you can tell by this message, sods law has happened and after a day or ore of no access it is fine and dandy but the cm is still reporting some errors inn the network log.

Lets see what happens then

Turns out that there was a short in the cable, so the copper centre core signal  was connecting to the ground shielding. Back to getting my more than full bandwidth of 22MB + on my 200mb plan.
