I have moved into a new property which has several Virgin Media boxes (two in bedrooms and one in the living room). I have no intentions of having any contracts with Virgin so can I remove the boxes?

Yes you can.

And if there is an unsightly box on the outside wall, you can remove that as well.

My name is NOT Alessandro. That's just a tag Virginmedia sticks on some contributors. Please ignore it.

Hi aimer_8, thank you for reaching out to our help forums and a warm welcome to our community.

We're sorry to see you're not considering to join us, we'd love to best advise you regarding your question about our internal equipment installed in your new residence.

From the picture posted above, this seems to be one of our isolator plates, both these and our omni boxes (external wall-mounted boxes) will need to remain.

However, you can unscrew any cables attached to the box and secure the ends should you wish.

Let us know if you have more concerns, happy to assist.
