Red light hub 3 router

We seem to have an unhappy router and showing an angry red light, reading up i am lead to believe he’s over heating but don’t know what to do! 

He’s on a shelf with air flow and in a corner away from any natural light in an unused (so low temp room)

any help/guidance would be appreciated

I'm sorry to see you're having some issues with the Hub, I appreciate this is frustrating and we apologise for any inconvenience caused. 

I've managed to locate your account via the information provided on your account and I can see you've managed to get a technician booked in to come take a look at this for you.
