Re connection

I have been waiting to be re connected to my broadband for 2 weeks and every time i phone im told to wait 72 hours that's happened 4 times now and i still haven't got any internet , i was told it would be done asap as im a key worker and really need internet access, surely all it needs is a button to be pressed to just re connect me as all the same router and stuff is already setup ??
