QuickStart cable issue (please help!!)

Can someone please tell me how to install my virgin media box. I’ve done it before in a previous flat but the wall socket thing in my nee flat looks nothing like what virgin media say it should look like on the installation guide. I know the previous tenants had virgin media so it must work but I can’t figure it out.

Currently there’s a cable con 4.9 coming out of the socket but this doesn’t fit directly into the virgin box. I also can’t seem to unscrew the current cable con 4.9 out of place with the tool virgin provided (see pic 2) - I’m also not even sure if you can u screw this / whether I even need to?

Anyone got any ideas? Any help is much appreciated!

Welcome to our community and thanks for posting. Sorry to hear that you're having difficulty installing your new equipment with us. We know how frustrating this can be especially if you don't have the correct fittings.

As our valued member @Tudor has advised if you could post some pictures of what you have in the property that would be a great help. If you can't don't worry.
