Promised credit for cancelling with prior service provider, not fulfilled
I was contacted by Simon Li on Monday 2nd November. He explained if I cancelled my contract with TalkTalk Virgin would reimburse me with the cancellation costs involved in this decision. I then made the decision to cancel my contract with TalkTalk.
Now I have a contract with Virgin I currently see no credit provided in my Virgin account that reflects the statement that was made over the telephone.
Please confirm if this credit agreement was made officially or whether this was in fact a false statement. I will wish to cancel with Virgin contract in this initial 14 day period if the statement made was false.
The agreed credited amount was £100.
