Ordered Quick Start but website says a technician is coming?
I ordered a quick start/self start thing, but the website now says a technician is coming to install my new hub for me. I don't want a technician to come into my house, and I should be fine to do the self-installation. Is this just a standard thing that the website says, or has there been a mistake?

If there is no cable from street to house, or the box on the outside of your house is missing then a technician will be needed, this is possibly why, can you check at the front of your property if there is a grey / brown box on the outside.
Also do you have any internal connections that have Virginmedia, Telewest, NTLworld written on ?
