Occasional disconnects on new connection

Hi,

Seeing the following in my logs - is this normal? On a newish gig1 connection, Hub4 is in Modem mode. Thanks!

are the disconnects wired or wireless

the downstream is high on some channels +10 is max but i dont think that would cause disconnects - speed problems maybe but thats a big maybe - that said they should be lowered - that will need a tech visit

post the second page from the downstream - that may tell us more

upstream has its own problems - levels are fine but one channel is on 32qam - they should all be on 64 - that may be the issue - try a reboot - before you do that though post the second page of the downstream - a reboot will zero all the errors if any exist

ok thats confirmed the downstream is high on some channels - the error levels are fine

all you can do is a reboot and see if that helps on the upstream - if not try a reset - that will set everything back to default - again see if it helps the upstream

regardless of that you need a tech to lower the downstream power levels and look to see whats causing the disconnects - wait for VM to get to the thread they should book a tech

worth setting up a bqm - that adds to the info
