No confirmation email about technician visit

I received my virgin broadband and tv package today and realized we don't have the virgin media box on our wall to connect the broadband to. I spoke to someone on the phone about this who connected me to someone else to book a technician in. We booked someone in for this Friday 19th Aug, but I haven't received a confirmation email of this booking. Any advice?

Can take up to 24h to show on the VM account pages, or sometimes not at all. The "My VM" app however does show them, and usually quicker.

No appointment has appeared in my app or online, also no confirmation email still. Any tips? 

As it's so close to your actual appointment date I would (begrudgingly) call them via 150, 0345 454 1111 or 0800 052 0422 to confirm.
