Hi there,

I've just moved into a new flat and I think I will need an engineer to install a virgin media wall socket so I can set up WiFi.

I had ordered the self-install kit to set up my Wi-Fi as I placed the order before moving in and the website said the address had been serviced before.

Since moving in however I have found everything is BT branded and there doesn't seem to be anywhere to install a virgin media box.

I hope you can help me with this as I am currently without Internet and burning through my data!

Can you see a virgin box outside?

If so, can you trace the cable that comes from it?

There might not be a box inside, it might just be a cable.

Can't seem to find a box outside anywhere.

The only cable coming out of my flat goes out the window into the ground so I'm really not sure.

Spoke to people in other flats and they all seem to be on BT.

One guy did say he had Virgin at one point though.

Managed to find it thankfully.

The cable was coming out of an old fire place!
