No Signal on TV

Hi, on my TV it comes up with No signal check connected devices power, cable connection and source selection, message. No picture or sound comes up. I have tried restarting/reboot box but still no connection.

Are you sure the TV is set to the correct Source for the Virgin Media box?

Is the HDMI cable from your V6 box in one of your HDMI connectors on your TV. If yes which one?
Is your TV set to the appropriate HDMI connection?
Is the Blue light illuminated on your V6 Box?  red is off/standby , blue is active
Are you connecting directly from the V6 box to your TV?

The V6 box is not a cable box nor is it a satellite box, it is an HDMI device, most modern TV's allow for the scanning of HDMI devices, but ignoring that, have you tried changing the HDMI channels on your TV?

Thanks for the reply. I don’t have the V6 box but the model before. 

My tv has now gone dead so it looks like it was the tv that was the problem not the TiVo box.

Hi are you sure if it's an older box, you don't state which box you have,are you sure it hasn't been decomisioned, as virgin are replacing older boxes with a V6 but you will need a broadband connection for it to work

Hi, it’s the TiVo box by have tried to connect it to another tv and it won’t pick up a signal. May be just a coincidence the tv has packed up and problem with the TiVo box.

Welcome to the Community, I'm sorry for the problems you've been experiencing with your TV service recently. 

 

As you've tried this and got the same result on another TV, was that with the same HDMI cable? If not, then we'd like to arrange for someone to come and take a closer look.

I have no tv signal in prestwick ka9 is there a problem with the signal in the area all virgin services seem to be down
