No Ranging Response Receive

Hi

I had Virgin BB installed last wed and it has been dropping the connection (to all devices, wired or not!) around 4 times a day and it is driving us crazy.  I have just discovered the Hubs Error Log, and can see that the error is as per the title above.  From reading posts about this seemingly common issue, it seems I need an engineer visit...which is rather disappointing less than a week after install.  I wondered what the procedure was for arranging one please?

Hey there @jasonhomer and sorry to hear about the Hub dropping connection several times a day. I've had a peek at your details using the information we have on here and whilst I can't find issues with the connection, there is something on the network side. I've arranged for an engineer to take a look as he can check over the connection to your property and speak to the Networks Team also.

 

You can find the booking via your online account  where you may re-arrange it if necessary and do let us know how it goes.

Where do I look on my online account to find an engineer booking then?  I can't see it anywhere, and i've not received any calls, email or text concerning it?

An engineer came last thursday (12 Nov) and carried out some work, but my broadband is still doing the exact same thing.  Several logouts a day with 'T3 timeout, No Ranging Response received'.

Can you advise next steps?

It is driving us crazy.

it won't let me post the downstream and upstream stats.  it says 'post flooding detected'

 

is the log sufficient to see the errors?

We need the other logs to be sure.

You shouldn't get the error after a short period of time.
