Above the four LAN ports are two RJ11 ports marked TEL. Plug the adapter into either of them.

strange, as when i moved in to my property in october last year, i didn't get VOIP.

The conversion to VoIP has been nearly done as BenMcr said.

New telephone connections are generally being done via the hub. Existing POTS installations appear to be staying that way for the time being.
