You've tried a pinhole reset?
Experience here is that a biro is not suitable, the best tool is an unbent paperclip or a SIM card removal tool, and push in firmly and hold for 30-60 seconds. When it has recovered from the trauma, you'll need the Settings password from the label on the base, not to be confused with the default wifi password.
