Hello, I move into a new house tomorrow (1st July) and after booking my box to arrive on the 2nd July, Virgin today told me that the previous occupiers have only just cancelled their contract after moving out today and that there is a 30-day notice period for their account to close. The landlord has informed me that the wifi router is no longer in the property, so I assume has been sent back to virgin by the previous tenants. Virgin have said that there is absolutely nothing they can do and I cannot start a new contract until the 30 days notice period is finished; effectively leaving me without any internet for a month
Is there anything that can be done? Am I able to start my new contract ASAP? Otherwise will have to look at different providers to get installed ASAP
