Hi!
I'm moving to a new house, and this currently doesn’t show on the virgin search. This is a new ish build (4 years) and isn't connected to Virgin, however an older property opposite is connected. The house is at the start of the street, next to a green box which is across the road. Was wondering if there was any possibility of getting the property connected to Virgin as the distance from the box to the property is short. I appreciate these things are based on commercial sense and therefore am willing to contribute to costs to help initiate this installation as I am cautious as I work from home a lot and have a lot of connections so ideally want 1Gib speeds, any help will be massively appreciated.

If there is no existing ducting under the road to your street, I doubt if VM will go to the (very expensive) trouble of doing this work for one customer ? Have you checked to see if there are any Openreach or AltNets in your area as these are capable of >1Gb connections as well.

Thanks for reaching out to us @jacktar2, and welcome back to our Community Forums!
I can see that there are multiple posts from yourself on this subject, and we would politely request that no further posts are created as this can cause confusion over who is working on the account/issue at hand.
However, I'll be happy to take this on, as it doesn't appear to have been picked up by anyone else - but do correct me if I'm wrong with that assessment!
