I too am in the same situation. I got my keys on Friday to my first ever house, and whilst there is a virgin media box on the wall it hasn't been connected up yet. I rang virgin who said the street isn't registered yet??? they have to wait for the builder to contact them as its a new build?? the builder said this may take a month or so? I don't really understand as I thought the cost of connection would cover this?
as I work from home, this means I cant move in until the wifi is sorted, so I either choose another provider such as sky or I have to wait to be connected at an unknow date.
can anyone help explain this?
