Hi,
So my downstairs neighbours recently set up a contact with virgin and got new line installed. The technician advised that although previously virigin have said it would not be possible to take it upstairs, that it was actually possible.
Dust forward a few months, my BT contract is due to expire so I signed up with virigin. However today it was cancelled before installation as they said it wasn't possible to connect us up. I called to discuss however the advisor wasn't best placed to discuss the technicalities and canceled the contract due to the previously incorrect information on the system.
Is there something that can be done about this? I'd love to sign up with virgin as my speeds with BT are appalling.

There may be more of a reason to why this was cancelled.
