New Hub 5, slower speeds

Hi guys

I just installed the new Hub 5 and ive noticed my speeds are considerably slower.

Something very similar happened to me the last time i upgraded my hub. Last time it was the wrong firmware and was fixed remotely  

Any suggestions/help is appreciated.  Thanks

how are you testing - wired or wifi - always test wired

for earlier hubs - i would guess its similar on the 5

log into hub3/4 - 192.168.0.1 [or 192.168.100.1 if in modem mode] - DON'T SIGN IN, click - click router status [centre of screen] - and post the downstream and upstream figures - to see those press on the grey buttons/boxes labelled - upstream - downstream

I think i posted in the wrong forum on reflection, I'm sorry about that.

Yes, I'm testing Wired

First weird thing is, the new hub is only accessible through 192.168.100.1   ,  and yes its in Router mode.

I also just did a test through steam downloading and in fact my download speeds seem to be a lot better

Using Speed test tells a different story but i know I'm am the mercy of the server I'm testing on.

Are you getting any PostRS errors?

(Not seen the interface for the Hub5s - on the hub 3 it is another tab near where you got the power levels)

I do not work for VM. My services: HD TV on VIP (+ Sky Sports & Movies & BT sport), x3 V6 boxes (1 wired, 2 on WiFi) Hub5 in modem mode with Apple Airport Extreme Router +2 Airport Express's & TP-Link Archer C64 WAP. On Volt 350Mbps, Talk Anytime Phone, x2 Mobile SIM only iPhones.

Cant find the T error table. But here is the network log

cannot comment on the network log but all the levels look ok - have you done a full reset - thats always worth a try - seem to remember a post saying the reset button is in an odd place - underneath i seem to remember it was said

I have had a look at your Hub on our side and it does appear to be showing a few issues on the downstream. 

 

For this reason I think we should arrange for an engineer to come out and take a look directly.
