New 1Gig Hub 4 self install questions

Dibbdobs
Tuning in

Installed a new Hub 4 replacing an old Hub 3 late last night just want to check a few things I used the existing wiring rather than replace with new. it was late when Yodel finally arrived and needed it up & running, I was going to rewire it today but it all seems to be running fine.

1. should I bother replacing the older wires? I can see the existing splitter has two male connectors, I think I'd have to remove these & fit female ones to accept the new wires. (see pics below for existing wiring)

2. Will it improve the connection ?

3. I don't understand what the included ethernet cable will do, it seems to run around the bottom of the splitter, ( to remove noise?) plugging this in will cause loop & this will use 2 ethernet ports,  problem is there are only 4 Ethernet ports & I use them all.

I'm getting 940Mbps & 49.2, I can't see any errors in the network log inside the router however I do see Pre & Post RS errors. So it seems stable.

Simple answer.  If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

There is nothing wrong with your connection, so leave well alone.   Yes, there are a few PostRS errors, but these are very small in the overall scheme of things.   My cable must be over 20 years old and still going strong !

Leave well alone, there is a 6dB attenuator in line before the splitter and with those power levels you certainly need it.
