My £50 credit has not been applied and my broadband has not even connected yet?

I was referred through a friend for the £50 credit and was told this would be applied to my first bill, I have just received the first bill and it has not been applied? Also, I followed the quick start up guide last night, I activated it over the phone and was told I can start setting it up. I followed the instructions to set it up but all I can get is the light at the bottom flashing green. I have tried rebooting it and everything, disconnecting the cables and reconnecting them but still nothing. I left it alone to sort itself out overnight and still woke up to a green flashing light. Can someone advise?

Thanks for your message, Firstly have other services been installed and are running active, You also mention your broadband has not been set up have you been advised as to why?
