Hey,
I am moving into a new place on 18th October and see the new place has Virgin services available. My work has an offer through virginmediapartners.com but the process of filling that in assumes the new address is where I am currently.
I can select the delivery date for the equipment to be 18th Oct (with next attempt the day after). Would that mean my first billing period would be 18th Oct - 17th Nov? I don't want to sign up if VM think today is the first day of my billing as I wont even have the equipment for another few weeks!
I am hoping that the equipment gets delivered and when I do the self install and call the activation line, that starts my accounts billing period. Any insights would be appreciated!

Hi kyemaloy,
The discounts provided by https://www.virginmediapartners.com/vmmap/offers/new are for new VM customers so welcome aboard.
The billing doesn't start until your services are connected so the billing would start form 18th October, however that may not be your actual billing period.
The following link will help explain how the Virgin billing cycle works, and what you will be expected to pay on your first bill.

Good afternoon,
Your billing will not begin untill your equipment is activated on your chosen day so you will be fine to select the 18th as your delivery date.
Thank you, Joe

Hi @kyemaloy thanks for posting and welcome back to our community.
When you say "new place" do you mean it's a new building? Or your new place? If it's the latter. Do you know how recently our services were active at the property you're moving to? Just so we can be sure all cables are still there. As our sales can only see if the property has had services there previously.
