Master Socket Installation

Good Evening,

I am currently thinking of joining Virgin Media due to my current provider (Talk Talk) being an overall terrible provider.

My question is, would I be able to choose where the Master Socket is installed?

I am currently thinking of having the Socket installed in the attic as I have recently installed network points around the house with Cat 7 10GBASE-T STP cables.

My home at the moment does not have a Virgin Media Master Socket.

Thanks for your post and welcome to the forum

The best thing to do here is to have a site survey from an engineer who will come prior to the install and confirm if its possible to have the modem in the attic.
