Loose manhole cover.

Hi, There is a loose manhole cover on the busy road outside our house. Every time a car drives over it makes a loud noise. It’s been keeping us awake all night now for months! Will you please come and fix this !!! 

it’s a CATV manhole on Plodder Lane Bolton. BL40LA. Just next to the entrance of Stanley road.

Council aren’t doing anything about it. Had United Utilities out too. It’s Virgins so nobody else will do anything about it.

They should be helping you by putting pressure on virgin to fix this, ask them what you are paying rates for.

Any chance of whacking in a wooden wedge - did the trick for me - back in area many years later - wedge still doing its job - good luck with it

Found a number and got tarmac put over it. 🙂
