Is it possible to connect a printer to my tablet using only usb ?

The tablet has a link for printer, but on connecting my HP printer via the USB supplied by printer it keeps saying (this printer unavailable at the moment) tried downloading cloud, but its not happening? Is it possible? Please.

Re: Is it possible to connect a printer to my tablet using only usb ?

I’ve no idea about the VM tablet, but all tablets I have encountered only connect to printers via WiFi. The USB sockets is mainly for charging purposes and also sometimes for additional storage. Never heard of connecting a printer to it.

If you have a Virgin TellyTablet - which runs Android - you should in theory be able to install the additional driver software by going to Settings > Printing > Add service, and choosing the manufacturer of your printer (HP). However, if the TellyTablet is locked down and doesn't permit this then you'll need to try wireless printing.
