Hi,

during the installation of virgin broadband will I still be able to connect to my old internet if I have not yet cancelled it?

Yes, VM installing their service(s) shouldn't affect the service(s) on your BT/openreach line, so if you really wanted to you could have VM alongside another non-cable provider.

VM install their own cables. If you can, it’s always best to have an overlap with your old ISP in case of any unforeseen problems with the VM installation.
