If there has never been a cable installation at the property, a sub-contractor will* come first to put in the cable from the road. Then a technician will make a later visit to do the internal work.
*unless there is a problem with the cable work, which is often the case as you will see if you read this forum. Treat installation dates an an estimate, not a guarantee.
