IPv6 support on Virgin media

Does anyone know whether (and if so when) Virgin plan to implement IPv6 on its network?

I'm on 216.66.80.26, also.

Possibly worth noting that VM traffic shapes my scp/ssh traffic to 20mb/s, too, but not VPN to my workplace ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

tried both 216.66.80.26 and 216.66.88.98, currently using on 216.66.88.98, I am in Startford-upon-Avon

Hm, ssh/scp works fine for me, no shaping

They shouldn't be shaping anything!

Up to speed

after switching to M200, still the same issue, download is shaped at 20Mbit/s using HE.

How are you testing your ipv6 speed?

I just ran a test here: http://test.telenor.net/

I was monitoring traffic through my internet gateway, and it was definitely going through HE. I got full rate up and down.

However, repeating the tests now I'm getting much lower rates, so I wonder if HE have some sort of throttling if you use a large amount of data in a short time?

I tried thinkbroadband, ipv6-test, just downloading a file from a resource with high-speed net I am sure about, didn't consume high traffic before the test, it is always like that, I doubt it is HE as we will be seeing a lot of complaints about that on HE forum.

Both ksim and I were using think broadband speed test which should be an apples to apples comparison.

I've not seen any evidence of throttling even after a lot of heavy ipv6 usage on HE (all YouTube traffic goes via ipv6 for example).

Is there anything about how the tunnels are configured that might cause a problem? I use plain vanila OpenWRT 18.06 with everything configured through the LuCI web gui. My connection is through an SH1 in modem mode.

I am using Mikrotik, the configuration was done using the console, standard "6to4 Tunnel" followed the documentation on HE site, no shaping is configured on the router (did a clean setup), VM hub is in modem mode. CPU usage on my Mikrotik as about 0%, the same configuration worked fine with other providers.

my traceroute:

traceroute to 216.66.88.98 (216.66.88.98), 64 hops max, 52 byte packets

tried a different IPv6 tunnel provider, https://ipv6.ip4market.ru/, the same picture, speed is not going higher than 20Mbps.
