Hi Everyone
Trying to get IPv6, HE tunnel looks like capped by VM on 20Mbit/s, any other way to get IPv6 working?

That doesn't sound right. I don't have any problems running close to full speed over my HE tunnel. Here's a test I've just run over IPv6 (verified in Wireshark to be sure):
https://www.thinkbroadband.com/speedtest/1562670348732080055 (84.4Mbps)
and over straight IPv4 non-tunneled VM connection:
https://www.thinkbroadband.com/speedtest/1562671135720630755 (111.91 Mbps)
The difference in speed is a little surprising. I've seen the IPv6 be within a few % of the raw connection. Perhaps LINX or the tunnel server is a bit busy at the moment. No throttle at 20Mbps though.

I do get lower speeds on my HE connection. My main connection is 350 MBits I think, but I rarely get more than 150 or 200 over IP6 if memory serves.
I haven't really paid too much attention to it to be honest, as it's still 'fast enough'.

Never really noticed a speed issue when using an HE tunnel but had to disable it as there were too many complaints from the kids and my wife about Netflix and VirginTVGo not working.
Both are blocked (on PCs/tablets - V6 app and TV app seem fine for Netflix at least) as Netflix/Virgin deem an IPv6 tunnel to be a geo-unblocking VPN!!
See here for Netfix. VirginTV Go was discussed further back this thread.

Hey all, I've been lurking this thread for months now (years?) as one who really wants native IPv6 on my Virgin Media connection.
I'm running a HE tunnel on my Linksys WRT32X, running OpenWrt, and can confirm that my IPv6 traffic is rate limited to 20mb/s. I'm on a 220/20 connection via a SH3 in the Loughborough area and can easily saturate that link with IPv4 traffic.
I also had trouble with Netflix not working on IPv6 capable devices until I blocked my local DNS resolver from returning AAAA records for the Netflix servers. More detail here:

Lastly, my connection is generally pretty reliable, but I've had multiple extended outages (typically 2.5-3hrs each) over the last 2 weeks where my cable modem does not respond to pings on 192.168.100.1, let alone forward traffic to the internet. Virgin Media are obviously making some changes somewhere, one of these was to increase my upstream from 10mb/s to 20mb/s, but I can't see what else has been going on.

strange, mine is definitely capped, can't get speeds more than 20Mbit/s, tried different endpoints, still the same, I am on M100 and switching to M200 tomorrow.

Also saw a few topics on HE forum about 20Mbit/s cap on VM. 😞 VM support is not able to help me here.

Interesting. IPv6-in-IPv4 traffic is a doddle for VM to identify. Just grab any IP protocol 41 packets. FWIW I'm in Edinburgh.
What HE tunnel server(s) are you all connected to? I'm using 216.66.80.26 (the other choice being 216.66.88.98 AFAICS).
Just noticed that I created my HE tunnel on 8th July 2009. Happy 10 year anniversary!
