I can't sign up despite two connections less than 5 metres away

Hello Virgin Media,

I've been wanting to join for 2 years but despite having two connections in the street, less than 5 metres away, I am unable to sign up with you.

I even have a Virgin engineers phone number to connect me up. He has shown me what he would do. Where the cable would go and the procedures.

I am about to move flat because I cannot get decent broadband and find it very frustrating when your network is already next to my building.

Can you tell me why this is the case?  I don't particularly wish to move but if I can't get decent broadband I have no alternative. Mobile broadband is shocking in my area. Been there. Done that.
