I set up my Hub 5 last night and noticed that the connect app doesn’t support the 5 so how do you add the booster to the hub or do I no longer need one? I used the app to test the signal strength in various rooms.

You don't need to use the app, as everything can be done by logging onto the Hub  192.168.0.1 

As for wifi scanning there are several Android apps in the Play Store or Airport Utility for iOS.
