Hub3 permanent red light

Since yesterday my hub is showing a permanent red light, suggesting it is running hot. Internet is still ok. Contact centre suggested it is working so no need to worry about it, but I am not happy with that response as clearly something is not right with it. Hub has been in the same position for two years but only started showing a red light yesterday. Leaving it off for a while makes no difference. Can I get a get a replacement hub? Thanks.

Yes, it needs replacement, and CS agents shouldn't be advising customers that with a hub showing an overheating indicator is OK.  It has been said that availability of new hubs is a bit of a problem at the moment, but forum staff can advise.
