Hub has constant red light

Hi - our hub has had a constant red light for at least a fortnight now and this is despite many resets etc.  From the forum I understand this means it is over heating and may need replacing - it’s coming up to being 5 years old.

I always assumed a RED light on the Hub 3, which meant it was in MODEM mode (RED) and not ROUTER mode (WHITE).

Especially, if the Hub is not generating too much heat.

Is your wireless working at all?

Apparently:

Modem mode = Magenta
Router = White
Overheating = Red
Wireless issues = Yellow
No-one seems to know = Orange

Mine is definitely red in modem mode and goes white when I put it in router mode
