Hub Constantly Rebooting

Since last night the hub is constantly restarting, here is what I could pull from the logs :

And now it just says access denied. But the phone line still works. Phone line goes through the router. 

My account is up to date and I don't owe anything. Apparently engineer coming out Wednesday! Hope I'm not being charged for this!

This has been getting more frequent recently. Regular drop outs but usually the router restarts and its fine but this went off dead on 10pm last night.

Faults page when it works shows nothing wrong in the area

Hello

No wonder why you are having problems the stats in your downstream are outside if specifications, both power levels and SNR, you are going to need an engineer.

I have escalated to the VM forum team, one of the VM staff will be along in this thread to resolve it for you.

While waiting for somebody to come back to you can you go around and make sure that all coaxial connections to all VM equipment are finger tight best way is too loosen the connector and re-tighten, once done power off hub for 30 secs and back on, if the figures are still as bad then def will need an engineer.

Hi, many thanks for your help. In desperation I phoned Virgin who said they will send an engineer. Nearest appointment Wednesday afternoon 😕

I checked all connections and the outside one to see if anything had disturbed the cable etc. All right and nothing changed outside. Its strange as it was dead on 10pm.

Service checker appears to be offline so can't check local area.

Hi Someusername, 

Really sorry your hub is having some issues at the moment, I can appreciate the frustration. 

If an engineer has been booked this would usually be because there's no area faults showing, if we booked a tech when there was an area fault then the tech would be cancelled. 

I can certainly have a closer look at the account though and confirm what's going on. As I'm unable to locate your account from here I will need to pop you a private message and get some details.
