Hub 3 or Hub 5?

Hi all

Just got my new Hub 5 today and have it all up and running, however, when I'm logged in to the hub everything states that it's a Hub 3? and not a Hub 5, am I missing something here?

Well assuming that it is a Hub 5 and they haven't palmed you off with a 3 after all, I understand that the firmware on the 5 is based on the Hub 3, probably what you are seeing is an example of a somewhat less than stellar attention to detail and quality control by whatever team was responsible for coding the firmware.

Of course some might wonder what other bugs features might be lurking in the firmware!

Must be a Hub5 as it says DOCSIS 3.1

Ah yes, absolutely right - so it's down to poor coding then!

Must be VM new approach “We have the GUI code the hub to work with that”.
