Hub 3.0 not installing

I just received a Hub 3.0 to replace my Hub 2 but it doesn't install successfully.

 After plugging everything in as per the instructions and trying with and without the attenuator attached to my Hub 2, the installation process seems to go nowhere.

In the status overview I can see that the internet status shows the following: DS scanning, Requesting CM IP Address and Registration Failure.

Can someone help me with what the problem is?

Have you called in to activate your new hub?

Does the old Superhub 2 still work?

If so, you either haven’t made the activation call for the Hub 3 or it hasn’t been sent correctly.

Do I have to activate the new Hub? I assumed the activation was for new accounts.

Yes,  you need to call in and get them to send an activation code to your new hub.  They will de-activate the old one at the same time.

No, you have to activate each new device, whether broadband hub or TV box.
