I've moved into a new student house, previous tenants used virgin media and I can see the brown box coming into the house and into the front room.
I've checked online and this address isn't listed when I try to sign up. I called up and the person said our house wasn't serviceable. The rest of the street including the neighbours on either side are avaliable.
Why would our house specifically not be avaliable?

Thanks for the help. Problem solved.
For those who are interested, the house didn't appear on the list online becuase the agency gave us the wrong postcode for the address.
The difficulties starting a contract were caused by the previous tenants contract still being active. This was solved by virgin media agents over the phone.
