Home start kit

Hello, I just bought a house and needed internet for it next week, I signed up to virgin media broadband and selected a delivery date of 28/03/22. I then get an email saying they are delaying delivery of the kit for almost a month (25/04/22) with no explanation as to why, 

is anyone here able to expedite this process for me? Not a every good start as a virgin media customer

Possibly the previous tenants haven't cancelled their service
