Help! My hub 3 won't connect to internet

Our hub 3 arrived yesterday and today I received a text to say that my account had been activated but I am not getting any internet. I can connect to the router but the router won't connect to internet, the error is "access denied". I've been on the phone to VM since 9.30am this morning , passed through several teams and been cut off multiple times too. Does anyone have any advice? We have tried rebooting and still no improvement.

You need to activate the router, have you done this?

Yes we activated it and received a text to say it has been activated
