Has anyone actually got through to the new build team???

We have been trying for days now and the phone just goes on hold for 20 minutes then it drops the call, are Virgin Media doing so well they don’t won’t to keep our business.

We Moved last Friday and notified the help desk 3 weeks ago that we were moving and they have managed to cancel the existing services at the old house, but neglected to tell us we needed to call these mythical beasts that work in the Virgin Media New Build Team.

 

Any Help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your post and apologies to hear you're having an issue speaking with the National Home Builders Team. 

 

Their team have gone through some changes recently and it's meant they have been left severely under staffed.

Hi Kath thanks for doing that. Someone from Virgin rang on Tuesday and the cable was pulled yesterday and we are expecting an engineer next Thursday to carry out the installation. Fingers crossed this is the last you’ll hear of me😜

No problem, we have another issue at the moment Virgin are now threatening us with a charge of £58 because we haven't returned the equipment Smiley Mad  Arxx and Elbow spring to mind.

We are havign the same problem, so annoying, i haev been trying to get hold of the team since the start of november, we complete next week and need broadband asap as I work from Home, Sky can fit but woudl rather go with Virgin, please can someone help???????????

Hi danshep83

The National Home Builders Team and New Build team are two different departments. One has a customer facing team available on a phone line, which I appreciate is a busy one, and the other is an internal team set up to support us.

If you can pop back to me on a PM with the following I can work out who you need support from and approach them for you.

I will need:

  • Your name
  • Your full address
  • The developers name
  • The development name
  • Your contact number

I can email them for you.

I saw the first sentence on your PM and knew straight away it was a National Home Builders one!

Thanks for PM'ing me so swiftly

I've popped this back to the teams to get them to look into this for you.

They are usually calling our  forum customer referrals to them back within about 3 days so you should hear back soon.
