Flashing green light on the HUB 3

I just received my QuickStart kit today and went to set it up. The previous tenants also had virgin media so I just swapped the cables around and powered up. I made sure I had confirmation they had activated the signal then turned the router on and it went straight to flashing green base light. I read it might have to do some updates so I left it for an hour and when I came back it was still flashing green. I rechecked the cable to the router and the cable that comes in from outside and nothing helped. It is currently just sat there flashing green. Can anybody help?

Call the activation line again 0800 953 9500 .

If that doesnt kick it into life - there may be a fault on the connection which might need a Tech visit

A pinhole reset also worth a shot

Do a Hub “pinhole reset” - first make sure the 2 passwords on the Hub sticker are still there and legible first ! Disconnect any ethernet cables from the Hub (leave the coax connected), and then with the Hub still "switched on" throughout, press pin in firmly with paper clip/SIM tray tool or similar "thin thing" and hold it firmly for at least 60 (a timed sixty) seconds, release the pin, leave for 5’ to stabilise - dont manually switch it off at any time. Passwords will reset to those on the sticker. See if that sorts it
