This was brand new on Friday , shouldn’t need to disable anything should I?
There is nothing physically wrong with the hub hardware, so the fact it is new is of no importance.
A previous update to the firmware is the issue as it has introduced a bug that mimicks the WPS button being pressed.
To disable WPS do the following:
Log into your Hub via 192.168.0.1 & use the one time Admin password on the base (unless you have already changed it). Go to Advanced Settings > Wireless > WPS Disable both WPS options at the top & apply the changes by pressing save. Go to Admin > Reload & Reboot Choose the last option & reboot the hub. The Hub should then cease looking for WPS kit.
